Omega 3s are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, including EPA and DHA, which our body does not synthesise naturally. They are mainly provided by oily fish. Our Omega 3 comes from an EPAX® marine oil, highly concentrated in EPA (200 mg) and DHA (150 mg) per capsule.

What are the benefits of EPA and DHA?

EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA). DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and normal brain function (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA).

How to take our Omega 3?

In the myCuure (pouch) format, take 1 capsule per day. In the bottle format, take 1 to 3 capsules per day depending on your needs. In both cases, preferably during the first meal of the day with a large glass of water. The recommended course is 3 months, renewable. This food supplement is intended for people aged 6 and over.

What is the TOTOX index?

TOTOX measures the total oxidation level of an oil: the lower it is, the fresher the oil. Our EPAX® oil shows a TOTOX below 10 meq O2/kg at production, and below 26 meq O2/kg at best-before date, the limit set by GOED (Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s).

What is the origin of our Omega 3 oil?

Our oil is supplied by EPAX®, the world leader in marine ingredients for over 185 years. It comes from small wild oily fish (anchovy, sardine, mackerel, tuna depending on the fishing area), certified Friend of the Sea for sustainable and responsible fishing.

Can it be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Maternal DHA intake contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the foetus and breastfed infant (beneficial effect with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA for adults). Pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised to consult their doctor before any supplementation.
