Citrate de magnésium

Magnesium citrate is a mineral salt formed by combining magnesium with citric acid. It is one of the most widely used forms of magnesium in nutritional supplementation, valued for its good bioavailability compared to other forms such as magnesium oxide. Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in more than 300 enzymatic reactions in the body. It contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous and muscular systems, energy metabolism, protein synthesis, and the maintenance of normal bones. It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal psychological function. Dietary magnesium intake is often insufficient in Western populations, partly due to diets low in green vegetables, legumes, and whole grains. Magnesium citrate therefore represents a practical supplementation option, well tolerated digestively at moderate doses, and readily absorbed by the body.
