This fractionation process yields very low molecular weight micro-peptides, including sequences rich in glycine, proline and hydroxyproline — the characteristic amino acids found in collagen's structure. Thanks to their small size, these micro-peptides offer high bioavailability and are rapidly absorbed by the body.
