Caféine

Caffeine is a natural alkaloid belonging to the methylxanthine family. It is found primarily in coffee beans, tea leaves, cocoa beans, and guarana. It is the most widely consumed psychoactive substance in the world, used for centuries for its stimulating effects. Its properties are well documented: caffeine contributes to improving alertness, reducing the feeling of fatigue, and supporting cognitive and physical performance. It acts by blocking adenosine receptors, a neurotransmitter involved in the onset of drowsiness. It also contributes to stimulating the central nervous system and may help promote the mobilisation of fatty acids during exercise. Supplementation with caffeine in standardised form allows for precise dosing, unlike dietary sources whose content can vary considerably. It is particularly relevant for individuals looking to support their energy levels, concentration, or athletic performance, within the framework of a measured intake adapted to individual tolerance.
