These molecules are widely studied for their role in supporting the body's natural defences. Research suggests that astragalus contributes to the activation of certain immune cells and exhibits adaptogenic properties, meaning it helps the body better adapt to physical or environmental stress. Preliminary work also explores its antioxidant effects. Supplementation with astragalus root extract is particularly considered during periods of fatigue, prolonged stress or seasonal immune vulnerability.
