MicrobiomeX® (dry extract of Citrus sinensis and Citrus paradisi)

MicrobiomeX® is a patented standardised dry extract derived from two citrus fruits — sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) and grapefruit (Citrus paradisi). It is naturally rich in flavonoids such as hesperidin and naringin, polyphenols characteristic of citrus fruits and well known for their antioxidant properties. These flavonoids contribute to modulating the intestinal environment by promoting the production of butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid essential to the integrity of the colonic mucosa.
