Palmier Nain (extrait de fruit)
Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a small fan-leaved plant native to the southeastern United States. Its extract is derived from the dried, ripe berries of the fruit, which are rich in free fatty acids and phytosterols. It is one of the most extensively studied botanical extracts in relation to men's health. The active compounds in saw palmetto contribute to supporting normal urinary comfort and maintaining male reproductive function. Scientific research suggests that its lipidosterolic constituents interact with certain enzymes involved in hormonal metabolism, particularly 5-alpha-reductase. It is also associated with a potential role in maintaining normal hair density in men. Saw palmetto fruit extract supplementation may be of interest to men seeking to support their prostate and urinary health on a daily basis, especially from the age of forty onwards. Standardised extracts containing 85–95% fatty acids are the most clinically documented forms.
