Silicon dioxide

Silicon dioxide is often used as an anti-caking agent. It is one of the additives which may contain nanoparticles. However, several in vitro studies suggest a possible toxic effect (oxidative stress) of silica nanoparticles on certain cells of the intestine. As a precaution, we do not use it in our formulas.
